Heather Erickson and Joseph Panetta have been appointed co-chairs of the State Medical Technology Alliance, a national network affiliated with US medtech industry association AdvaMed and over two dozen associations in the US that represent medical device manufacturers. Ms Erickson is the president of MedTech, a regional trade association for technology manufacturers and research organisations based in New York State, while Mr Panetta is president and chief executive of BIOCOM, which represents life science companies in southern California
