Bulgarian pull-out delays vote on new European Commission

The European Parliament has decided to postpone its vote on the new European Commission after Bulgaria’s nominee for the new European Commission, Rumiana Jeleva, withdrew her candidacy. The move will delay the planned transfer of medical device policy from the commission’s enterprise directorate general (DG ENTR) to DG SANCO (health and consumer policy), which will happen when the new commission takes office1...
